Here I am
Each passing day
Each sleepless night
I look each way
But you're nowhere in sight

My heart is heavy
My spirit is weary

In the midst of friends
Surrounded by strangers without

The night is merry
It's just brimming with joy

Yet I am still selfish
And my greed has consumed
